Power Flushing

Power Flushing is a process that cleans heating systems by flushing water and chemicals into the system at high velocity but low pressure, so as not to damage the system. This flushing removes sludge and corrosion from the system which build up over time. This sludge and corrosion can cause reduced efficiency, noisy operation and in extreme cases failure of the boiler.

How does it work?

The power flushing pump is simply connected to the heating system. The powerful flow, combined with an instantaneous flow reverser device, dislodges and mobilises deposits and corrosion which resist traditional system cleaning methods. Once the deposits have been mobilised fresh water is then forced through the system pushing the contaminated water out. All radiators in the heating system are cleaned in the process without removing them from the wall or disconnecting them. At the end of the process the system contains fresh water and an inhibitor to help prevent further corrosion.
